Sandhaven specializes in cruise ship tourism, and is one of the best destinations in the Caribbean for visiting passengers. 

 

With one of the finest white sand beaches over a mile long, it’s clear to see why Runaway Bay and Sandhaven are the number one choice for independent travelers.  When visiting for just a day you want the best facilities at the nearest point and at the most reasonable price.  There's no fee to come to Sandhaven and it's the lowest fare in a taxi from the pier, with a range of facilities available for your use: chair and umbrella rentals, fresh water showers, waitress service on the beach, disabled toilet facilities and access to the beach, jet skis, horse back rising, and life guard on duty on all cruise ship days.

 

Every day we offer a fantastic Caribbean BBQ buffet where you can sample our local curry, BBQ/Jerk chicken, Rice and peas & more.  If that doesn’t take your fancy then have a look at our daily specials of local sea food or try one of our sandwiches, burgers, salads or pasta, each reasonably priced.  Check out the bar for a local cocktail or two (or three) and don't forget to sample the local rum.

As of 2010/2011 Taxi fares are $12 USD as standard for up to four persons for a one way fare and $3 USD thereafter per person.
